Privacy Policy

Vibe Bloom is a sound app for sleep, focus and relaxation, published by QuickAppsAI ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Vibe Bloom app for iPhone and this website use, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data, we show no ads, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

The short version

• You can use Vibe Bloom without creating an account. The app gives itself an anonymous identifier so your library can be saved.
• Your saved mixes, playlists, favorites and listening history are stored in your account so they are kept when you change or reinstall your phone.
• Location is optional and approximate. It is only used to show your city's weather on the Home screen and it is not sent to our servers.
• There are no analytics, advertising or tracking tools in the app.
• You can delete your account and everything stored with it from Settings in the app.

Information the app uses

Account identifier

When you first open the app, Google Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous user identifier. It lets the app save your library without asking for your name or email.

Sign in with Apple or Google (optional)

If you choose to connect your account with Sign in with Apple or Google, Firebase Authentication receives the name and email address that Apple or Google share. With Sign in with Apple you can choose to hide your email. We use this only to keep your account and library available across devices.

Your library

Mixes you save (their names, layers and levels), playlists, favorites, sounds you customise, the last session you played and your recently played items are stored in Google Cloud Firestore under your account. Only you can read or change them.

Playback diagnostics

If a track fails to play, the app records what failed so we can fix it: the track's catalog identifier, the stage and type of the error, error codes and messages, timings, the platform, the app version and the kind of network connection (for example Wi-Fi). This is linked to your account identifier. It contains no audio, no location and no contact details.

Approximate location (optional)

If you allow it, the app reads your approximate location (precise location is off by default) while it is open, to show the weather where you are behind the Home screen. The location is sent to Apple's WeatherKit and Apple's map services to look up the weather and your city name, and your city is remembered on your iPhone. It is not sent to us. For the aurora effect the app downloads a public forecast file from the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) without sending your location. You can turn location off at any time in iOS Settings.

Mix covers

When the app creates cover artwork for a mix you save, our server sends a short description of the mix (the kinds of sounds and layers in it, the local hour, and its name for a content check) to OpenAI, which generates the image. The cover is then stored privately in your account. No account details, email or location are included.

Processed only on your iPhone

Suggested mix names are written by Apple's on-device language model where your iPhone supports Apple Intelligence; nothing is sent to us for this. Your sound and display preferences, the weather reading, cached audio and artwork also stay on your device.

Technical data

Like any internet service, our providers process technical information such as your IP address and device type when the app connects to them, in order to deliver the service and keep it secure.

What we do not do

• We do not use advertising, analytics, attribution or tracking SDKs, and the app does not ask to track you.
• We do not sell or rent personal information, or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
• We do not access your microphone, contacts, photos or health data.

Who processes your data

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions): account, library and diagnostics storage.
• Apple: Sign in with Apple, WeatherKit and map services, and the on-device language model.
• Google Sign-In: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
• OpenAI: generating mix cover images from the description above.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy commitments. Data may be processed in countries other than yours, including the United States.

How long we keep it

Your library and diagnostics are kept for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your Firebase account and everything stored under it, including mixes, playlists, favorites, history, diagnostics and covers. Information kept only on your iPhone is removed when you delete the app.

Your choices and rights

• Delete your account: in the app, open Settings and choose Delete account.
• Location: allow, limit or turn it off in iOS Settings at any time.
• Access, correction, export or objection: email us and we will respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We process your data to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract) and, for diagnostics, our legitimate interest in keeping playback reliable.

Children

Vibe Bloom is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access to your account's data is restricted by server-side rules to you alone. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising. The mixer on the home page plays audio in your browser; nothing you do with it is recorded.

Changes

If we change how the app uses data, we will update this page and the date above, and tell you in the app when the change is significant.
